Productive day
Ian and I went to the junkyard. We tried for 10 am, but hey, we made it for 11, so that's not bad. He was well helpful in pulling the parts I needed for my Saturn. For $61 I got enough stuff to fix the window problem, the door panel, the dome light, and a radio. All are now fixed. However, I had to walk around in the sun and step in puddles of engine oil. As you can imagine, I have a love/hate relationship with the junkyard.

So now the car needs the services of an expert upholsterer (me, your resident savant, after I get a book and some tools) to fix the whale-sprung seat. This car must've been owned by the king of the elephants before it went to the auction. Plus a spurious flashing light and a couple of other minor issues. I will advertise it as soon as I fix the seat, though. I needs me some money!! I'll probably buy more Saturns if this one sells well (quickly and at a nice markup). I'm very happy with this car, much happier than I was with the Caravan, which I already sold, or the Lincoln, which I would have sold if Autotrader didn't deem it "suspiciously low in price" and de-list it without bothering to tell me. I swear, I make no mistakes, ever. Everyone else is in charge of fucking up.

No. Way.

That's why I wasn't able to find your ad?

Eww.
