Sexy day at the car auction
Yes, in spite of being the biggest sausage fest outside of prison or engineering school (which are really two sides of the same coin), the auction really tries, as evidenced by my bidder badge number and the helpful information written on this Mazda 626....

My bidder badge for today. Arrive early and get the good stuff!

No one did, so I didn't buy the car.

Here's another car I didn't buy. My prospective customer did not like my description of it. I figured it would be good for no more than $11k bid price, if desirable at all. But it went through, bid up to $11,300 (am I good or what?), and the seller refused to take that price. So it either ended up as a no-sale, or he got a different price on the next run through. I didn't stay around to find out, since I couldn't move the car anyway.

I ended up buying two cars - a 98 Toyota Camry, and an 01 Dodge Caravan. Both are very nice. I like. Hopefully someone else likes them even more.

EDIT: Well, the auction inspectors didn't like my Camry at all. It was "turned down" (the sale was reversed) due to undisclosed frame damage. But I got the Caravan, and I'm quite pleased with it. In fact I drove it home and left the TT in the auction parking lot!

(I tried to bulletin this on MySpace, but the images wouldn't show up. Any ideas?)
