Whoooooooo are you, hoop-ty, hoop-ty?
Well, I finally sold the hoopty. As of tomorrow afternoon it is officially out of my shop - and my nightmares. But I got the money - cash money - today. The guy who bought it had a whole mouf fulla gold teef.

I used a mop today for the first time. It's not so awful, but it's not fun, either. In direct contradiction of our more Lady Macbeth-like friends, I'm not all that big on cleaning the floor. However, it is important to me that the floor be clean, and I can't pay someone else to do it.

I'm going all the way up to West Palm tomorrow. There's an auction there that has a car I might be able to sell to someone at the school board. Being a car dealer means lots of driving. Nelson says there is money to be made buying cars at west coast auctions, driving across Alligator Alley, and selling them here. I'll be doing some research on that, and if he seems right, I'll probably give it a shot.

Speaking of Nelson, he called me back today, and we met at my shop. We hung out there and talked....shop....for four and a half hours. We worked out an agreement, too, which will be mutually beneficial. I really would like to have someone else verify his status, though. I don't like the fact that I'm the only one who talks to someone who I thought was dead....
